" Game on, ElJayers! You can diagnose your friends in Sim Hospital or steal crops from your neighbors in Farm Frenzy. Check out all our new games in the Game Center!"

But I don't wanna! :p
Now if you had any interesting, non-facebook clone, Fantasy-D&D style game...

I'm so glad I stopped playing restaurant city on Facebook. It started as a cute little game and then they try to force to you have a lot of online friends who you could use to hire, and you have to do boring things repetitively to keep your restaurant so that, when you level up, you don't go broke because the customers expect a bigger restaurant etc...

I think having games (like in Gaia) is actually great as long as they are really games and not just money-making machines.

But online, those are turning into one and the same thing. Besides, they have to recoup the cost of making the game.

There's recouping the cost and there's using them as a tool to force all your friends to visit a page with a dozen different ads loaded. I bet most of the cost of them these days is designing them to involve as many of your contacts as possible. *sigh* Sure, there are some nice ones, (I quite like Word Challenge myself,) but so many are just mindless exercises in promotion with a few pretty graphics, it's mind-numbing.
