Dagnabbit, science is hard.
I found a book purporting that Man evolved through a more or less aquatic phase, and got all excited about it (it's a really attractive hypothesis) and then I go and look it up on the net and have a look at some of the arguments against it, and it turns out that as attractive as it is, the Hypothesis is JPW(Just Plain Wrong) aka full of HOLES & errors. *headesk*
Oh well. Back to the research board. XD

(Oh, well. I've always kinda liked Shuichi; he just doesn't get enough screentime to be fleshed out. Which is what fanfiction exists to remedy.)

..................... And oh drat, I thought you had said Shinichi. *Headesks.* I definitely need to write more on Shuichi. Just because of that, am including my fan-comic (http://community.livejournal.com/manycases1truth/204653.html) that features him.

1. Akai and Gin hate each other with a passion because a)Gin doesn't like fishing which Akai loves, b)they were good friends who fell out, c)they work for opposing organisations and have diverging views on justice and where to put a fishing rod. 8D [The friendship of Red and Silver.]

2. Akai tops Gin, because the argument that he looks like a girl will always pawn. ["]

3. In LAG Akai is really glad that Gin was not amongst the dead bodies. Akai likes a challenge dangit. And with recent spoilers in mind, I guess he's just as revenge prone as Jodie, though he's less "emotional" about it.
... Now that I come to think of it, calling Gin "Koibito" seems like a bit of self directed sadism. Sure, it makes fun of Gin's long hair and is used with the meaning "enemy", but it's also a painful reminder of his girlfriend's death.

4. I definitely need to write more about him, especially with recent events that render the argument that there isn't enough info on him nil. (And also bolster the idea that he and Conan are a dang dangerous duo!)
... Just like Jodie. T_T The rare times I do use him, it's merely to indicate that I haven't forgotten the FBI. Dang.
