Since my room is now tidy enough to really see the floor (ignore the desk, that's tomorrow's job) I'm going to indulge in Meme Time!

She's refreshing. She's this naive character who wishes for the best, even if in the back of her mind, she knows it's not possible. She's kind, helpful and diligent, and tries to see the best in everyone.
Because of this, she gets hurt, but at least it doesn't make her mean or spiteful. Just cautious and sad.
I love how quickly she seems to trust Edward, despite their altercations and different points of views. She sees that in him she can find someone who understands, someone to help and protect her. Someone she can trust, even if she acknowledges that his path in life will take him very different places from hers. And Edward, to a certain extent, seems to share this point of view. He empathises with her, doesn't pity her. He treats her like an equal, a person who can take the truth said in a calm manner, even if she doesn't like it, doesn't want to hear it. I think he admires her too somewhere. Maybe she reminds him of his mother a bit.

Anyways, I'm much more fond of her paired with Ed than Winry. :cp
