Since my room is now tidy enough to really see the floor (ignore the desk, that's tomorrow's job) I'm going to indulge in Meme Time!

Snagged from [livejournal.com profile] thepinkangel
Give me any fandom* we have in common and I'll tell you:
1. The first character I first fell in love with.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer.
6. The character I would shag anytime find hot.
7. The character I'd want to be like.
8. The character I'd slap.
9. A pairing that I love.
10. A pairing that I despise.

*Make that any series you think I know. 2 fandoms ain't much to play on.

In other news? My painting wasn't accepted to the Aberdeen Artists' exhibition thing. XD;
Not really a surprise there. 4 of my classmates' have been though. ♥♥♥

You sure that's not your inner Ran-fanatic speaking up dear? XD

If I recall well *too lazy to reread* Kazuha goes to Ran and says something along the lines of "so you're Kudo, huh? Listen up mate, Heiji and Me we're friends for life, don't you dare come between us."

At no point did she question Heiji about his love life. At no point does she question Ran.

She's an Alpha-Female feeling a menace, a challenge, and she's openly challenging her opponent, while cleverly avoiding crude words such as love♥. All this based on the (stupid, admittedly) assumption that Heiji would only talk so much about a girl. Well he can be a flirt at times. CF the swimsuit guessing game.

She doesn't interrogate, ever. She makes assumptions and issues challenges or sulks when she can't find a politically correct way of doing so. (CF Ran being nice and taking Kazuha shopping.) Her problem is that she bases everything on emotion and doesn't question her deductions or base them on enough evidence. She could do with learning a thing or two from Kudo.

If I recall correctly, she act like a stalker with Ran, talk to her in a very agressive and condescending manner without having even introduced herself and don't try to confirm her suspicious feelings before to throw gratuitous accusation.
Well, impulsive temper don't excuse anything...>_>;

Acting in basing everything on emotion, I could understood that, but it didn't allow you to lacking or respect for others.

But maybe it's just me and my hate with the alpha-phemale kind of characters and I don't like either characters who treat their lover like their property to the edge of looking of other female like potential thiefs...

Oh? You don't like jealous characters? But what about Akako darling? >D

I think Kazuha wasn't that aggressive. She wasn't shouting her head off at her. She was speaking in a very calm, if indeed snide manner that said "I don't like you" until emotion got the best of her and she tried to hammer in the point about being linked by a chain. As for the Stalker attitude, she was looking for the best occasion to confront "Kudo" without Heiji around to cockblock restrain her, prevent her from causing trouble. And heck, there are human beings all around us who don't respect others, I wouldn't say doing that is not a human trait. We just need to learn to deal with such types.

*Sigh.* And look, you've made me essay in defence of Kazuha. That feels unusual to me. XD;;;

Yes, Akako and Kazuha are both jealous, overpossessive and could be pretty bitchy with their "potential" rivals. But I adore the first and hate the second. Double-stantard?
Well, not exactly, it's more one of my main critic of Kazuha.

I could love Akako because, she is not ONLY jealous and overpossessive. Her feelings towards Kaito are evolving. First, it's not even love, just the desire to control someone who is a threat to her oversized ego. Then it's become hate toward someone who refuse to be submissive with her. After that, it's become something like love, and finally it's become a kind of love when the happyness of the beloved one is more important that the fact to be loved by him...
In the end, Akako prefer a free Kaito which couldn't love her to a captured Kid who pays his stuborness.

With Akako, I see the birth of a love, how this love is working and how it evolves.

With Kazuha, I see a love which is already there, is not trully fleshed(we know those two are in love..but well, we don't see much what they're loving in each others) and remain in the same state.

So even in considering the two characters in the single area of their love interest, Akako is more fleshed that Kazuha for me, that's one of the reasons which made me love her despites her flaws. There is something else in this character that I could love.

Plus, Akako's character is not limited to her love with kid, there is the fact that she's a sorceress, the fact that she's helping Kid to escape to Hakuba, her relationship with Aoko.

But for Kazuha, her love toward Heiji is not trully evolving, she's not trully evolving herself and if I'm not interessed by her love or her devellopment, there is not another side of her which could made me like her...Her relationship with her father?Not trully fleshed. Her friendship with Ran?Either...

So, with Kazuha, I'm only seeing flaws or lack of qualities...

And for me, she is agressive with Ran. You could perfectly be agressive and staying calm.

*looks at the amount of cases with Akako*
*looks at amount of cases with Kazuha*

. . .

Ironic.

*sigh* I'd love to see Kazuha in a setting like MK, with some sort of intuition put to use effectively, not just for dramatic purposes.

And yes, she is being aggressive, but not overly so. I've seen girls act like that all the time. ^^;;
