So... Let's see... Today is the 14th of September... Wednesday...
Last post I wrote dates back to August (the 19th)...
And a lot of things have happened since, before, and generally during the whole summer vacation...
Let's see check list!
Pfiuut... Feel like changing my Icons sometime soon... hummm... I'll have to think what for... I quite like the actual ones so I might not... but still... hummm...
So... Let's see... Today is the 14th of September... Wednesday...
Last post I wrote dates back to August (the 19th)...
And a lot of things have happened since, before, and generally during the whole summer vacation...
Let's see check list!
- First: get 1st year results, go home. Had figured I'd fail Critical and Contextual studies... Sign up for resit.
- After a flight from Scotland to Paris(France), embrace Parents and sibling, and settle in at home for the beginning of the holiday.
- Celebrate 20th birthday ^__^- (Shoot, I'm no longer a teenager... So what?)
- Celebrate siblings baccalaureat results (\o/ wheee confetti!)
- During same time get a summer job. Tick. Spent June and July working in my dad's company (but in a different service), mainly hastling italians for delivery dates on spare tractor parts.
- After end of Summer Job, realized I only had 20 days left to finalize CCS resit and send it off. I really, no, I mean it, really must thank mom, sis, and whoever encouraged me (louna? -_^) for their support. I really got cracking despite my chronical discouragement and got it finished! All thanks to you guys!
- Of course, after that sit back, relax, generally slack off and get 'Nervous'... What if they don't get it in time? What if it's lost? What if despite my efforts I fail, graah! ... More importantly, push panic-like thoughts aside and promptly ignore them. v_v
- Spend a whackily great day at the beach with mom and dad (while sibling wisely avoids sunlight to hang out with boyfriend,) and get one great slab of sunburnt shoulders ^ = ^"
I played with a 'nearly 7 year old' most of the time and by the end of the day was digging in the sand, creating accident sites and railways for my 'ice-tea can' trains and sandal bridges... - Met Iris, one of siblings Greatest
victims akafriends. Since we were checking out the locations of their schools in Paris, got confirmation that my sister lacks in sense of orientation (or has too much pride to admit she should turn back?). Was a fun day though ^__^- - Hanged around sibling at her boyfriend's some time... (Still have a 'whole in the thumb from too much video gaming' to prove it.) Also got to catch up on neighbour/friend Aline's life.
- Have just returned from 6 days in Lyon (South-East France approximately), at Kessy's! Had a great time there with sibling, Kessy is a great person to be around, and we were both quite sad to depart... (Personal Note: I generally don't feel all that emotional about seperations, so I found it pretty unusual to feel like I did today ^^;... ) Sibling was the perfect Otaku there. I'm still Ô_o at all the manga/anime she bought, and we did quite a few marathons. I'll probably do a more detailed update on this in my french blog tomorrow.
- ^_______^ %grin% Got result from resit (Many many many thanks mommy! ^o^) I got it! Now I'm absolutely certain I'm going back to uni on the 19th...
- Wait a second... the 19th?! Panic time! %stops. Puts aside any paniccy thoughts and proceeds to forget them mode% Arhem. Shall be departing to aunties in Scotland once more tomorrow, with a single priority in mind: FIND ACCOMODATION... ^^; Yeah, I'm a procrastinator. So what? I'm probably going to learn to regret it more and more. It's a curse, and I just need to find the permanent cure. =cP
- Forgot to list that my room underwent a MAJOR tidy/sorting/hurricane act during the length of these holidays. It took me awhile, but I'm glad of the result. Now I can actually Find Stuff. V.V
- My website Le Détective versus l'Organisation underwent a great clean out and a look change this summer as well. Am hoping to improve on it this next year, but if my internet connection isn't up to it (like last year), it'll just have to wait... (sulks)
- Two Main Regrets: Only one of my handmade birthday cards actually reached their targets by the birth date of said person since January 2005... Y_Y And I didn't get descently in touch with highschool pal, Light&Dark.
Pfiuut... Feel like changing my Icons sometime soon... hummm... I'll have to think what for... I quite like the actual ones so I might not... but still... hummm...

I am waiting for the next installment...
Am sure that you now have the confidence to relax and enjoy the coming year with enthusiasm and pleasure.
I am so impressed with the progress made over the summer.
Courage for induction and finding a flat during the next week.
How exciting to have so much to look forward to.
