Dear Laptop...
Jan. 9th, 2009 03:05 pmDear Laptop,
More specifically, dear mysterious graphics driver/pilot "ati2dvag",
Please could you stop failing every single time I turn laptop on?
I'm fed up of opening my email inbox only to end up staring at a Blue Screen of Death, or worse, the windows "no graphics, no fail" mode.
Once in a while, when the laptop has been on for ages and isn't in a position where it should have no trouble cooling? Okay... That's how you started.
But Now
things is just getting ridiculous.
Yours sincerely, and earnestly starting to look into -fixing- you,
The User.

I've tried the Driver update route, which came to nothing since it could not find any driver to update to... But I did find a forum thread that also had the same specifications as my laptop mentioned and followed the advice there. Problem hasn't turned up since, so hopefully it's "fixed" for the time being. :D
