Life update.

My Dad came up last week for a short visit. He helped me get my paintings out of storage and into his rented van to store it gratis in the house he now fully owns on the west coast of Scotland. We also got to catch up on my aunt who lives just outside Aberdeen and enjoy a great meal out with Curry and his folks. As far as I know Dad is now back in France with the Christmas presents I gave him.

The good thing about no longer having stuff in storage is that I don't need to worry about what to pay them and when. Minor downside is that it was a good 50£ off my "dole" which means my spending margin till Wednesday is tighter than I'd like, but since it is now Monday~ I should manage fine.

Still job-hunting. Am starting to think that if I want to get the kind of job I'd really like to get (anything graphic design), I need to get some form of training(aka: know how to use the computer programs associated with that kind of job). Meanwhile am getting around to painting some landscapes in watercolour. Hopefully they'll be good enough for the person who asked me for them. ^_-

I'll probably not be spending as much time online as I have done when given the occasion of late. My current data allowance seems to be going fast and expires in just under a month. I'd like to make it last till then. (Which translates to me definitely avoiding msn for the next couple of weeks. Dang. =c{ )

And I've been working on some ficcage... Nuit d'Etoiles' next chapter is half written, and Claude's birthday fic has made progress. Not much else, though poking at the idea of doing some more of my Drama 2 fanart binge.

It's great to hear that you are painting again. I will be painting a watercolour tonight, too. (And yes, you should definitely study for the job you want to have. And trying to earn money with things you like to do. :D)

I really thought that kiss was cheesy and childish. As if he asked for a bonbon and she gave it to him. But nice coloring. :D
