Animation?

Today was a slow day, but not totally unproductive.
I started reading a book on animation, on how to do it. My flatmate's book to be precise. Is quite interesting, and has revived an interest I had at some point to try and do animated Fanart.
Some of my attempts of the time (2004?) can be found -here-. Fairly stiff things, and I had inserted some useless noise that distracted more than it helped.
& Here are the two results from my doodling today.
... Poor Conan's face is all over the place. XD
Is fun to try out though. :D Shall try and do more in future (and hopefully get better! \o/)
Also, yesterday was the opening of the RSA Student Exhibition. I've been the two years prior, and enjoyed those times, and yesterday was quite enjoyable too. Though it does feel like quite a major difference to have one's work in it and be able to place faces and names on many of the pieces. Will try to make a more detailed post some time, because I think my brain is still processing it. :cD

That's really nice ! :) And even more because it is your first one...:)
This is a bit what I dream to do, even if 3D animation is not exactly the same.
Idea : instead of only writing fanfictions, make yours animate :p
Also, any pictures of the exposition ? ;)
