claude rules: I think I noticed randomaicoholic had "claude sucks" as an interest, I mentioned this to him on msn, and added "Claude rules" to my interests because he totally doesn't suck. He replied back with "Dagron rulez" but alas "claude sucks" is still there! XD;

sleeping in: ZZzzzzz..... Who on earth wouldn't enjoy being snug as a bug in a rug all morning? ♥
solidarity_against_internet_witch_hunts: Remember all the LJ drama? The Strikethrough? With whatsitsface reporting random (porny?) ficcage and all that? Yeah. I think this became a popular interest because of that. I joined in on it because Witch-hunts are no fun in my book.

Very obviously inspired by the LJ announcement sent both to my mail box and my LJ message center~. Screen-capping is love.

And now... Guess what?
Some "Return of Kudo Shinichi! Showdown with the Black Organization"(DC Drama/Live Action #2) inspired Doodles! \o/

So I found this Teaser, see, via some generous soul on Knightus Page's chat-box (ShinXela I think?). At least I think it's the official teaser. Am not 100% certain, but it's got Shun, it's got very obvious Conan and Ai, and Kogoro, and Sherry(♥). It's also very short, 15 seconds long.

And of course, just to make us boil with anticipation, they showed Conan, Ai and Sherry, but they made sure we couldn't see their faces.

But that didn't stop some fanart from being born. At all. 8D


Sooo... We get a glimpse of Shiho and Shinichi in some catering Kitchen, next to lots of bottles of Alcohol I presume (Bottles! Squee! *shot for Uni!induced bottle fixation*), chatting I think? And I totally can't draw that skirt.
Also, I didn't draw him here, but there's totally some weird dude on the floor behind them, supposedly conked out from despair or other.

... but wait a second, what happens next?!


SCORE! Semi-canon Shiho->Shinichi glompage! 8D *is SHOT*

Ahem, that said, my doodle doesn't really translate that idea so well, since I'm still trying to figure out what Shinichi could have said to cause her to leave that oh-so-charming Bottle (of love~ *shot again!*) to latch onto him as if she'd tripped over and he was the only one stopping her from falling. Am also curious as to why they seem to be in Teitan Uniforms. (Thus, the idea that Shiho 'borrowed' hers from Ran.) If they do turn back unexpectedly into adults, I don't think they (or the Professor) would have a shiny pair of uniforms at hand, would they?

But enough of analysis. All I can say now is that I am efficiently teased (if only because of my co-ai shipping self), what one could see of Conan and Ai looked very cute (and faithful to the original), and Kogoro seems to have forgotten his (animé!movie) fear of heights, as he is very much leaning out of a helicopter. X3 *amused*
No sign of Ran, Gin or Vodka so far. Unless you count the bottles of course. I'm partly glad there's no sign of them, since the less spoilt about the plot/romance we are, the better I think. Xc3 Though if they pull a movie ten stunt I might be a bit sour. XP (Movie 10 teasers/promotion poster led us to believe BO would be involved.)

Synopsis
Conan attends a party for the "Miss Japanesque" awards, where he happens to eat a cake that temporarily transforms him back into Shinichi Kudo. While there, a murder takes place and he has to solve the case. The special will also feature the first live-action appearance of the Black Organization.

I have no idea how they're going to try to explain how baked goods can now change Conan back. But I'm all for some CoAi moments. ^^

I have to say, though, that I don't really like the actor for Shinichi. He has the cool, disinterested vibe going, but manga!Shinichi is always passionate about cases not laid-back.

Which Ai fan isn't? X3 Though I suspect the Baked Goods is no different to the Alcohol. Maybe they had a strong alcohol content? Or a specific name related to the BO? *Why cut down a trend?* *shrug* We'll see.

I don't know the actor much, but I think I gathered from my viewings of the Sailor Moon Live Action that it's a format where it's hard to be picky. Drama!Shinichi =/= Manga!Shinichi =/= Anime!Shinichi sort of logic I guess. *sigh* I admit I had trouble watching the 1st subbed Drama through more than once, even if I did enjoy it afterwards. Hopefully 2nd Drama Shinichi will have more of that passion going? (Though if his hands in pockets are any indication... ^^;;)

Lol. I guess Oguri was still Hanazawa Rui when he got Shinichi's role. I only thought of a black-haired Rui and was never reminded of Shinichi when I watched the drama.
