I will admit that I do not ship Ran/Eisuke. Shinichi and Ran was my first OTP of the series, back when I first got into it, and I tend to be pretty die-hard about my initial couples ^^;;

I've written quite a few Satou/Takagi fics for

fanfic100, plus I think one other... (*goes to count* Yup, got four for them, and one for Satou/Matsuda), and then "The Best Man" apparently accomplished the impossible and made Shiratori sympathetic XD But if you want Satou/Takagi,

Eisuke just happens to be the first character I've encountered in the series that seems to have any real potential to get in Shinichi/Ran's way, and am so amused that after file after file of having Ran and Eisuke side by side it's only then that Conan starts to show his jealous streak... Won't stop me from writing more Ran/Shinichi when the plunnies come though. (Am also still trying to picture how Eisuke/Ai would ever work, if possible. Eisuke/Sonoko is another crackpot idea poking around the corner. *sigh*

June once talked about Akemi/Shinichi subtext in one of your story(Voices, I think...) and...since I don't lurk very often on your lj, it's the only time I've heard rumors like that.
I should try the story one day , but I've already so many story to read and for now, I try to gives more attention to my own fics.^^;

As long it's well written, IC and touching, I would love an Akemi/Shinichi friendship story as much that I would love an Akemi/Shinichi love story...
And it's the same thing with Conan/Ai, Ayumi/Ai, Ran/Shiho, Gin/Akai, Koizumi/Kaito and all my favorite pairing...

I've never catch one plunny with those two, for now, I've only explored their relationship when it's related to an other pairing(Eri/Gin, Eri/Yukiko, a try for Heiji/Eri which became a Heiji-Eri friendship story, and a Kogoro/Shiho story in the plunny state...)

And yes, agreed. Tomoaki needs more love. I should probably find new ways to use him in fics myself. He was a friend/mentor figure for my OC in my fics CQDEC (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1917064/1/Ce_quest_devenu_Conan_Edogawa) and O2J (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2184411/1/Oiseau_de_Justice), and heh, he -IS- a handy doctor for wounded characters. :D
