1 - How did you start writing?
I went to school and copied these funny things called letters. :D Later on did the same at home with a book on cursive writing. Oh wait that's not what you meant, right? :co
Well, there was also this thing called "Creative Writing" in school. I liked it, even if I was really slow. In the years following that, I would invent my own stories in my head, and sometimes go as far as to try and draw the characters or write the story. One of the earliest ones I remember is about a bunch of kids who find themselves shrunk to faerie size and end up helping the faeries defeat an evil scientist. One of my more serious (and still in Progress) ideas is about a world where there is a third state of time: Day, Night and Terror. A world in which the fights of men and gods influence the length of each one of these states of time.
Was introduced to Fan Fiction itself a while after I discovered DC. I think it was french fanfics first, but then I discovered english Fics. And I think that's enough said.
2 - How did you choose your penname (and why)?
Dagron Rat: Dagron = fusion of Dagger + Dragon (hey I'm a fantasy fan) which was at the time a name I had created for an OC in my fictional world (drew her. Kinda elfish. Weird story about teacups in an amusement park.) Rat = Nat' = Abbreviation of my First name courtesy of Dad. ♥
3 - What was your first fanfiction?
Memories... Unfinished. Done during summer vacation, for an english Detective Conan fansite fic contest. Very Gen.
4 - How do you write? (Without a draft, with a draft etc...)
Most the time without draft, straight on PC... Though my first Complete multiparter fic was 60% written on paper first. I do from time to time go to paper again, but it's usual due to a lack of PC time than anything else. 8D
When a fic gets too long I do feel the need to draw up outlines though.
5 - What's your favourite character/pairing? (Not the one who like to read about, but the
one you like to write about.)
Erm. Shinichi/Eisuke? Ran/Shiho? Ayumi/Kogoro? *shot* I don't have a particular favoured pairing (even if I plan some OTP writings~). Character wise I'd say Haibara Ai. ♥ Obvious reasons. I try to write her in most my stories when possible, and a great many seem to centre on her some way or other.
That said, I also find it fun to write about other characters, so I believe I'm not that much of a "specialist".
6 - What genres are you writing for?
Mostly gen' I think. I don't really 'think' in terms of genres.
7 - What's your favourite fanfic fandom (if you're only allowed to choose one)?
Detective Conan/Magic Kaito. Two for one. ♥
8 - Why are you still writing (or have stopped)?
I'm not writing because I'm a lazy goop and whenever I do have energy it's for school work or fanart. I AM writing because I love putting ideas to paper, and, well... PLUNNIES. They bite.
9 - When are you going to retire from writing fanfiction?
When I get over the bite of Fandom and veer into Original Fiction. ♥ ♥
10 - What do you plan to (would you like to) change in your writing style or working style?
I want to continue and get better, just like with drawing. Hopefully I can get more "poetic" and also manage to get messages across that make people think. My style is still on and off staccato err something like that. At least I think.
11 - What do you love (or hate) about writing fanfics?
Love: Ideas that write themselves in one session they are so powerful.
Hate: Ideas that won't write themselves easily yet still bite strong, ideas that come then go, and eternal WIPs that lose the plot.
12 - Are you going to write original stories some day?
I sure hope so. :D
13 - What are your plans for the next years (when it comes to fanfics)?
Continue my Works in Progress. Write more for Sailormoon and maybe some Zelda fics. I really HOPE to finish my WIPs, but I don't know how fast that's gonna be.
I also want to get back to my original storys and do comics. >_>;;
14 - What would you like to add? (Something interesting you'd like to say and which I had not asked you about.) I... I'm sorry. I'm braindead. Is why I'm fulling out memes instead of reading or writing. D:

I think there was a problem with the formatting. I'm not sure. In the middle I was confused because I didn't know whether the part afterwards still belonged to your story or not.
