...I swear, I can just picture it happening. ^_^;;-And hey! Look!! Listen!!!
I've done something that isn't coursework related and that is not Fanart for a change!
To make a story short, this is procrastination at its best. The idea of doing "original" comic strips has been bouncing in my head, and this is one I doodled today. Nothing brilliant, nothing WHAM BAM IN YOUR FACE SURPRAISE! ...Just a small vignette that popped into my head inspired by BOB THERE, HI!, also known as my "crazy" flatmate. Hopefully I can do better and more (and make it a series, who knows?) and justify the title "07 Random Court" (07 for 2007 but also fictional flat number. The Flat I'm living in at the moment is # *** Court, so instead of *** I put Random, because. RANDOM.) as well as justifying the rather ambitious "strip 01" in the bottom.
There. I've said it. I've done it. Let's move on.
Onto more serious day to day life issues...
Have submitted this for the Aberdeen Artists' Society's call for entries in Aberdeen. Why that piece? Because I did it last year (2nd year) (& thus I need not worry about whether I have it or not for the upcoming assessments) and have had it on my bedroom wall for quite a few months without getting sick of it. ♥
5 £ fee for non members, and a selection to pass. Will see if it comes through or not.
( Those who see my locked posts know this is probably my third submission of an art piece to something. First two were nice "no thank yous" in case you wondered.).
Tomorrow we have a practice to help Anita from Sculpture organise a "multilingual" piece of work she plans to do on the 26th. The "happening" involves a dozen volunteers reading out loud in a different language each. I'm doing French.
And that's all I can think of to say in what has come to be a very arty-farty update.
RAURG!! XD
