1 - Claude's fault, but not really. I've seen you around on LJ in the DC circles, and you caught my attention because you were familiar with the French version of DC and spoke French. Have stalked you on and off since then (I think you might not remember that comment I left way way back then?) seen your chats with Claude and Lurked Out on your LJ for Lurker's day, didn't I? :D I think after that whole conversation on Avatar I decided I'd better stop messing around and friend you. XD

1. Aaah.^__^ Though I do not know the french version of DC, I stumbled over about five minutes of the french dub and experienced the masterpiece of french dub horror and never read a french dc manga except those two or three pages where Akai calls Gin his girl-friend *gg*.^^; And yes, I do remember your first comments in my lj!^__^ I'm glad you did it by the way, I'm usually far too shy to comment by myself.^^; *sigh

6. I have one younger brother, he's 21 and currently for a year abroad in China since he is studying economy with specialization for chinese economy or something like that.
Argh, the second one is also a good question.^^; I think I read an ad for the newly published dc series in Germany and thought that the synopsis seemed to be really interesting. I have no clue whether I watched an anime episode before buying the manga or not, and I'm not quite sure why I was that fascinated by the first volumes, but that series somehow ate my brainz! There are some mangas I like even better than dc (for example Monster ♥), but I have never been that addicted to them like I was/am/probably will be for dc/mk.^^;
How I became addicted to yaoi/yuri is even longer to explain!>_< When I watched Lady Oscar when I was about 9 years old, I have been fascinated by that particular scene where Jeanne pretends that Marie-Antoinette loves Oscar like a woman would only love a man. I have been very intrigued how that could work since Oscar was obviously a woman... Well, from that point I started to feel a very strong fascination for any kind of homoerotic relationships, m/m and f/f, and at the latest with 13 or 14 I started to slash most characters of movies and books I loved in my mind. But I thought I was the only one to do that until I discovered yaoi at the age of 20 and I read my first fanfic with 22 in an archive named yaoi.de. (Do I have to mention that this was a wonderful surprise to see that I was not the only one?^^") At first I read fanfics in several series, but then I discovered the dc archive of yaoi.de and decided to finally write my own fanfics, that's why I became one of those many many yaoi writers though I'm starting to have more and more yuri, gen and het plunnies now.^^;
