Notes to self.

Note to self: pulling an all-nighter that involves a 4PM Barbecue at the beach, playing frisbee, alcohol, a club (with some dancing/random gesticulating on an overcrowded and fake-smoke-filled dance-floor), going to fetch backpacks at the birthday girl's flat, then going back to the beach at 4 golly-am via a kiddies' playground, to only get home at six in the morning tends to make one feel like a stiff old granny. It was awesome fun, but meep, creaky joints. Although they might be caused by my small fall on the "train track" thing, where I, er, splendidly cracked the frisbee in my backpack. Or the cold temperatures. *shrug*

Awesome side? Got to see dolphins swimming in the sea, rather close to the beach, beneath the rising sun. *__* Purty! Now if only mister C. hadn't had work the following day... D:

Also note to self: Erm. Carbonized rice = bad. Two dies after the flat still smells of your burnt and forgotten lunch. (Bright side? The thing that made me forget I'd put the rice on was filing papers. Tiring, but it got done!)

Went back to the Art School today to get a good chat with Anita and say hi to my fellow painters. It's so different from normal term time: the school feels like a hive of activity, despite three quarters of the students being missing. The remaining fourth years are setting up their displays and frantically finishing their art pieces.
If I hadn't withdrawn, I'd be going through all that myself too. Oh well. Need to get productive else where. >P

Note to self: Go back to talk to the lady in person about what withdrawal entails re:dissertation and reapplying to finish the year later on. (cf:Andrea.)

On, er... Creative side I've been working on my zelda_exchange prompt. Hope to get it finished by Friday. Am enjoying working on it however much my flatmate makes fun of it. Need to get some more materials though...

Note to self: don't forget to go to bank to figure out why your card was pulling a ":( No can do" at you today, despite lady on the phone from said bank saying all was fine with it at their end.

I noticed earlier the background on the shiho_sherry_ai layout seemed to have temporarily vanished for a bit. (Imageshack got a bit busy I guess?)
The community's second birthday will be the 27th of June. Maybe I should try and get a new layout ready for then? (Make a poll as to peeps' preferences regarding it?) Unless someone else volunteers?

Need to get on with Job and Flat hunt. My sane arty flatmate (who's now left the flat) shared a good link for flat hunting over msn. Will have a good look at that tomorrow most likely.

Right now I need sleep.
