Yeah, right. ¬_¬; %shivers%
So today, for the 3rd (or fourth?) time (out of approx. 8 times) since the start of the semester, we come in to class at 9h30 AM expecting a descent drawing day. (And hopefully one that would last through the afternoon too.)
And~...
No life Model. Again.
Muchos Eye rollage~ and exasperation.
So we all took a half hour break while Tutor figured out what he could do for a set-up (after answering some questions to the best of his knowledge...)
On return from break we had the pleasure of having one two of the three head tutors for painting come down to explain to us what was going on, and why.
So basically, avery 3 to 7 years of regular no problem Models, you get a year that's oopsie doosy as the school tries to "break in" new models who are needed to replace the older ones. (Something along those lines anyway.)
It happens to be this year. :c/ Oki doki.
Oh? And today's session?
We weren't supposed to have a model anyways, since it's review week.
We only had drawing day because one of the three tutors had a meeting in another city today so they couldn't review us till tomorrow.
Geez guys, we appreciate the communication there. v_v;
Anyways, once that was sussed, and the accent put on the fact that a model was NoT essential to good drawing anyways (even if they don't appreciate the absentee models either), we got on to have what proved to be in fact...
A really descent drawing day ^___^-
Set-up was more interesting than I had anticipated, and having decided on whim to use watercolors, I had a grand time.
Next week's a planned "no model" session, I wonder what they've prepared for us~ :co
On another note... %stares at nanovel...% I need to get cracking tonight.
I think the meet's canceled, so it's self-motivation mode "turn on" please.
And now it's definitely unlikely I'll reach 50K... I'm going to aim for 20, at least. è.é Nyah.
And the weather getting colder, I'm shivering, brrr~

What's really been bugging us is the fact that we wait half an hour for the model each time they don't turn up, in the hope that they will. v_v;
(Watercolors = Aquarelles, peinture à l'eau quoi. ^_^ J'utilise ça souvent dans mes fanarts cf DevArt)
