Hello there~

Here's mad person who has just discovered she loved Aberdeen Rain and Wind.

VIOUUUT!

In other words, I've been, tonight, to the first NaNoWriMo Meet-up in my area.
5 of us (plus 2 non Nanowrimo's).
It was nice, we got talking, (had dinner some of us) and shared quite a few anecdotes and impressions.

Now I just need to bypass that 3000 word mark and head up to the 14000 I should be at... ARGH.

Am definitely going to cuddle up in bed these next few nights and write and write on sheets of paper... (Even if word count wise that's gonna be a bother... It's just less intimidating...)

If I don't catch a cold by the end of the week, I'll either have to admit I'm not a fool (since only fools can't catch colds or something of the sort), or have to figure out why, if I'm not a fool, I got so soaked in the first place. Brrr.

But it felt nice, getting one's hair plastered to one's head, and having the wind push at one self, and one's coat and jeans get so wet. The drops on my face felt somewhat like a massage of pricks. Hummm~

But still, shouldn't want to repeat that... (Especially since I had to walk more than I had to in the rain, got off a bus stop too early ^^;; Hate night busses, you can't SEE your stop out them dark windows! )

Other news, hummm~
Well, drawing days are starting to seem quite the joke at Uni ô_o...
It's depressing really. -_-;
We're supposed to have a live model every monday, and draw all day to four PM...
But the models are always leaving early ô_o; Like 2:30 PM!
And us having lectures that extend the lunch hour (leaving us hardly any time to eat if we happen to be attending the lecture program of the current month), it dramatically shortens our real time drawing.

And also, a few weeks back, for two sessions in a row, we didn't have a model turn up!
Definitely weird.
Seems the school ain't drafting the models' contracts up swift and proper, and that they get paid better else where any rate...

They'd better set that right soon if you ask me!

Makes me want to find a way to get a week straight of intensive life-drawing...
I have the feeling my drawing skills aren't at best and are sort of stagnating...
Well, perhaps not looseness & confidence wise, but definitely in accuracy...
(And I really want to figure out how one is supposed to draw woman that look like woman -_-; )

... And this feels like the first time in ages that I've done a descent post on LJ, whoohou~
