This time it was leaving my indicator on without noticing after joining the dual carriageway (closest thing to a motorway a learner can drive on)... Which seems oddly trifling after failing twice for the examiner braking - once for braking too late, the first for not seeing a red light.
Aye, I understand that. I probably only failed because I never noticed myself till the examiner mentioned it. *sigh* I've been having a rather dumb!self week anyway.
Not that I know of. My dad apparently took 5 tries before getting his. Only limit is how soon after the test you can try again: 10 days. (But as there is a 2 month waiting list, it is rather moot.)
Good luck for the next time then, you'll do just fine in July! *touche du bois* I'm really surprised about the indicator thing though, that's imho a stupid reason to let you fail. I've done much worse things in my exam and they let me pass (though I've never done a mistake that would have gotten me into an accident). Are they really that strict in Scotland or was the examiner just in a bad mood?
I think the examiner was just a finicky guy. Apparently had it not been on the dual carriageway, it'd have been a pass. I dunno. *shrugs* I guess the area am learning in is full of challenges.
