dagronratI have just returned (give or take an hour to chill/dry out) from the cinemas.
I have been to watch "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy".
I have two questions:
-Where did the Dolphins Go?!
-What kind of an idiot gets out of his house in Pajamas a)To stop a Bulldozer, then b)To go to the Pub, and wears the same sweaty Pajamas while traveling through space, without ONCE thinking of Getting Changed Into the FIRST pair of CLEAN clothes he can lay his hands on?! I mean, I understand his craving for a nice cuppa'tea, but what about the girl? ^^;; She showers, gets dressed, even gets the Doofus dressed... %rambles on infinitely...%
Apart from that, the film was pretty enjoyable ^__^
I absolutely LoVeD~ the introduction. Go Dolphins! XcD It was humoristic, and catchy, and Caught My Attention with aSplashBang!
Then the Animations/Design for the Guide itself made me think "excellent example of visual communication"... In other words, I liked too :c3
And Marvin's kind of enjoyable. I guess he's what keeps you sane on a ship that sighs happily whenever a door 'slams'... XcD
Oh.
And that Arthur most certainly won't ever look at mice in the same way, ever again.
Edit: Aaaand~ the good thing: The use of the Guide itself IS Exactly Look the use of Any Traveler's Guide XcD You like at a few pages at the start of the journey, and then to hell with it.
Except for Ford. For Ford it's his bible >.>

Bad points: the 'plot' seemed 'wrapped up', reminded me of a child's series near the end, with the quest for The Penultimate Question~ and frankly, I hope Arthur isn't such a twit in the book as he was on screen... ^^;
And somehow... The 'Galaxy' seemed rather empty to me... Despite the crowded scenes 6_6;
Won't stop me from reading the book though XcD Especially since the end of the end credits seemed tantalyzingly interesting (>.> curse the cleaner... I would have stayed to watch some more if I hadn't felt intimidated by the fact that everyone else had already left...)
Anyways~
Apart from that: put my art stuff in for assessment.
I plan on having a Good Night's Sleep tonight, considering the Yoyo-like Weather and 'too many a light night doing nothing much' are kind of making me TiReD~ %yawns% in the hope to be as fresh as a rose for tomorrow, when I'll get to see the 'examiner's' opinion on my passage or not... I've been told no worries so it's cool, but still.
Off to get some food now...
