So.
Am self banned from LJ, MSN,Fics and Fanart till the 28th of January. For dissertation purposes.
Have been to see CCS tutor about it today. Apparently I'm the stubborn mule who fears not the stick, the chaotic procrastinator who sees not the point of dissertations, and the dark horse that brings out great motherly concern. Uhm, whut? Oh dear.
So yeah...
Shall be busy turning 2000 words of drivel into a 7000 word narrative exposing the ideas of one angry little Roland Barthes, who describes in a political, semiological manner the common myths surrounding objects, one cryptic Jean Baudrillards sociological approach to objects that show status, and one much more positive read of Csikszentmihalyi and Rochberg-Halton's psychological analysis of our attachment to objects, all this weaved around the fabric that is the capharnaum of my room.
So, uhm... June? Is it okay if I regularly jump you on gmail to talk about these things? *I have a feeling moral support will be helpful, but msn is too big a distraction.*
Do not want extension or fail. Want to get back to Studio practice, dammit.

On an other tangent:
a) Why does it feel so geeky and embarrassing to discuss fan-culture with one's tutor?
b) Claude, remind me on the 29th to tell you why I respectfully disagree and think Ran was right to not jump them treasure hunters when in an underwater maze with limited diving experience? *flees*

I still think it's stupid to follow guys who don't have hesitated to uses you and your friends as bait for sharks, the kind of guys whow ouldn't hesitate to put you in danger if it was in their interest, would kill you once you would be useless for them...
It's more stupid where you could neutralize them.^^;
