dagronratI've been very careful not to discuss 621 before the translation was out (and cursing paintshop for foiling my icon-making attempts) and now... it's out~!
First, page by page account:
1 - Title page is awesome. That is all. BD
2/3 - ...Eisuke has such a cute bad puppy look. ^^;
3 - Conan really is losing in discretion. As fun as it is to see Sonoko surprised by her own voice, it wouldn't be surprising for someone to understand what was going on...
4 - ...especially when afterwards she goes to sleep and stops looking confused. That said, he chose his moment well, since everyone was focussed on Megure. *sigh*
Takagi is such a sweet cop. XD
7 - "Weighing in at about 1,5 KG." Shinichi you nerd. You love to show off your maths, don't you? ^_-
Also all those who know about Blackjacks win. >P
10 - This isn't the first time that a kidnapping of a child case is mentioned, but it is the first time it is mentioned (that I recall) as a tragic case and a motive. Overall, I think this case had a good potential for tragedy/emotion, but it really doesn't come through as such. bah, considering what else is happening in the file, I don't think it's a problem.
Also: AHAHaHA! yes I'm evil for laughing, but this case? This case is the "Sonoko almost got kidnapped!!" case. You'd think she would have had stalkers/potential kidnappers before this. |D;
11 - "Man, this turned out to be the worst welcome back party!" Oh Ran.
a) It was for Eisuke! XD;; just the boy's luck I'm afraid.
b) How come there wasn't one in book 26 when Shinichi came back (that I'm aware of?) =_=? Not that I'm complaining~!
Also, Eisuke is rather clueless. He didn't know about Shinichi? He had to ask whether it was Shinichi Kudo? I would have thought he would have heard Sonoko tease Ran about him before! 9_9
But then he seems to be both Gullible and Polite in appearance so~♥
"It's alright, I'll go with him."
At Long Last someone who treats Conan as a child and doesn't let him run off late at night alone! Ran you should be stricter. XD
... And did Conan run to try and lose Eisuke? XDDD
12 - "You decided to accept the WPP? O.o;" Go on, tell him Conan. Tell him you don't want him to. X3
"Why the states?" Is it because of your Parents that you can't see the appeal of the States, Shinichi? XD; That said you're right, it's not obvious at first sight. ^^;

And if they actually have a Black Op on Kogoro's case...that means that the Syndicate is closing in...which could very well mean that we're nearing the Final Showdown, in which all will be revealed and Ran will find out about Conan and Shinichi will come back and Gin will go down because he's a mass-murdering f**khead like that...
...ya know, I really want to know exactly how this series will end, but at the same time, I think a little part of me might be kind of sad when it does come to an end...AND THEN ALL OF MY FANFICS WILL BE WORTHLESS!! *sobs*

as long as papers aren't lost, if there's an interview, Eisuke is probably going to have to help the interviewer get past first impressions.I'm going to have to do a lot of reading up on this
