First of all...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAAAAD~!
And you take care of yourself, you hear? (And don't drive Mom and Sis nuts, okay?^^;; )
You shall be receiving a parcel/letter at home by Wednesday.
I hope you'll like~ :c3
Mom? Have put up photos of those Book Ends I showed you on my DevArt account
Will probably post again some time monday or tuesday about driving lessons...
And Uni, since I'm starting back again on monday.
Something a bit more debatable:
Watched some program on Scottish politics last night, while making dinner.
They were talking about the Forth(Firth?Perth?) Bridge in Edinburgh, and how they would need to build another one or put a toll on it...
This "adviser" guy came on and gave some arguments that made pretty much good sense in favor of a Toll.
Then this Lady MP/Politician came on and said how her party was Firm in their stance about there being no Toll.
Another MP guy beside her seemed to disagree, and thought it was a tricky problem and couldn't see why people were so determined not to have a toll.
The lady was very determined and adamant as she said "No Toll. We Politicians are here to give the people what they want."
I'm sorry that I have to disagree somewhat, and go along with the thoughtful bloke on this issue.
What people want is not always what people need.
I thought a politician's role was to help the nation move forward, not spoil the people so he can get on with his life and they too.
A bit like a patriarch or Matriarch.
The idea that one must give people what they want, I guess, might be one of the reasons behind anti-social behaviour in society in general.
A bit sad really.
Just a thought that hit me while watching it.
